Currently, we are only accepting students who have received a training grant through the Workforce Investment Board (the umbrella agency for the Career Centers) or Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission training grant programs.
The purchase orders for these grants must be received prior to the start of class.
All students interested in coming to our classes under a training grant should call Salem CyberSpace to schedule an appointment to visit the facility, meet the instructor and discuss the recommended courses for your employment needs. Our staff will need to complete the school form provided by your Career Center so be sure to bring that along. We will not reserve a spot in the class until we have heard from your case manager that your grant has been approved. We ask that you keep us informed on the progress of your grant application which can take 4 – 6 weeks to complete.Per our agreement with the Workforce Investment Board, you may withdraw from the session within the first week of the session with a full refund (excepting a small administrative charge). If you are only coming to individual courses and not an entire session, you may cancel up to two days prior to the class without penalty but once you start the course, the WIB will be charged in accordance with the purchase order.
If a situation arises which could not be anticipated while taking the course/session, we will make every effort to work with you to make up coursework or to reassign you to a later course/session.
